Bilal Arif joined KalVista as Chief Operations Officer in October 2025, bringing more than 25 years of experience in technical operations, manufacturing and strategy within the pharmaceutical industry, supporting multiple global launches. Prior to KalVista, Mr. Arif served as Executive Vice President, Chief Technical Operations Officer of Sarepta Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Shire, Altus Pharmaceuticals and MilliporeSigma, where he supported technical operations, product strategy and global external manufacturing operations. Mr. Arif received his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, his Master of Science in Biotechnology from Tufts University, and his Master of Business Administration from Brown University and IE Business School.
